But why did Michele choose to start hosting events in the first place?

​

Michele is a people connector, passionate and purposed for community building. She's been bringing communities together, championing open mic nights since 2006 and pioneering Black culture game and trivia events since 2019. She recognized a gap in trivia nights around the country, so she decided to create a vibrant game night celebrating Black culture at Black-owned businesses.

 

We love transforming Black-owned spots into safe, fun spaces for multi-generational attendees to come and play games created by Black game makers, while enjoying good food, drinks, music, and great people! In 2023, we helped forged thousands of connections to include a few love stories, recycle over $50,000 into Black owned businesses, and created thousands of new and repeat customers. Our goal for 2024? Double the joy, connections, and support! Join us for unique, inclusive experiences.
